This academy started in 1988, named in 1996 and since then players and talents have been developed in the game. In Nigeria, despite our purse, our presence is felt wherever field hockey is played directly or through proxies. Our players adorn schools/colleges, local councils, states, clubs, and national colours in such competitions / tournaments.

Hockey Games in Nigeria

Age grades: U-14, U-16, U-18, and U-21 years; secondary schools, Colleges of Education (NICEGA), Polytechnic (NIPOGA) and Universities’, 5-A-Side, 6-A-Side, regional championships, Endyfas, and Festival/Holiday games in both sexes. Primary schools’ games have been taken care of with U-14 games.

In Africa too, our presence is also felt through proxies. Our players have adorn (and are adorning) clubs’ and national colours in competitions/tournaments such as club championship, nations’ cup, etc.

At Olympics, Classics and World Cup levels do not be surprised to see us there soon. We are working assiduously towards achieving that feat as well.

Star players are from the grassroots. We believe in catching them young. Today we have players from age 6 years and can boast of enough players for our club section and on loan to other clubs. Your financial, material and moral support counts very much.
